Could you be…

the most beautiful shoes in the world?

Just a little share of one of my favourite vintage finds from my most favourite vintage shop, Bambi. I’ll write a little more about them in a seperate post because they deserve a special mention.

Embroidered 1950's shoes

How lovely are these embroidered sandals? The lady in the shop said they were 1950’s and I fell for them as soon as I saw them.

Oh manifesto!

It wouldn’t feel like a proper start without an official commitment to what I’m doing, in terms of keeping this thing green and responsible. In fact I made the commitment a little while ago in my ‘Hand Made Statement‘, a manifesto for my crafting activities, over on Green Girls Global.

Impatience, work in progress

The work in progress is both my impatience and this blog. Being quarantined for the past few days with some kind of winter flu has at least given me the time to get online but don’t be surprised if you come back and things have changed a little, or a lot.

Spirograph fabric

The ‘Spirograph‘ shapes in the design are just right for a couple of reasons. First of all they remind me of a pattern in a skirt (well, its actually a top but will blossom into a pretty skirt soon) that I bought from the Mind charity shop a couple of weeks ago. Continue Reading »
